Start with what’s around you.

Our catalogue features curated walking adventures in London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Bristol and Cardiff. Each trail is crafted around observable, real-world clues that reward curiosity.

Every trail page details verified route lengths, estimated completion times, terrain descriptions and step-free access notes so you can choose the ideal adventure before setting off.

Pick the right kind of adventure.

A city trail follows public outdoor spaces. A venue trail stays within a particular attraction’s permitted areas and may depend on admission, opening times and signage. Each experience has its own duration, distance, suggested ages and access notes.

Look at the start and finish before you choose. The destinations in between stay hidden: solve the mystery at your current stop to unloc the next. You get enough information to plan your day without giving away the adventure.

Pack the trail before the snacks.

Download your chosen experience while you have a reliable connection. Keep enough phone battery for the walk and check the weather, daylight and any current local access restrictions. You can stop for a break without losing progress saved on that device.

For a family outing, choose a duration everyone can manage. For an attraction, check admission separately with the venue. A trail download does not include a venue ticket.

Have a UK place worth discovering?

We also discuss commissioned venue experiences, clearly labelled sponsored stops and optional offers with businesses. These are agreed directly with the owner, with a quote and preview before publication. Unloc City is not an open marketplace for anyone to upload and sell a route.
