A LITTLE CURIOSITY GOES A LONG WAY.

The treasure is the thing you nearly missed.

No buried chest. No collecting things from the street. An Unloc City treasure hunt is a walking puzzle trail: the reward is spotting a real detail and working out what comes next.

Explore city trails

Follow curiosity, one stop at a time.

A city treasure hunt gives a walk a purpose. Instead of being handed the whole itinerary, you begin with a starting point and a mystery. Arrival unlocks an observation-based question. A correct answer reveals a little more of the place and your next destination.

The finishing point is visible before you start, so you can plan your day. Everything between it and the start remains a surprise. You cannot jump to a later puzzle through the normal player interface.

The clue belongs to the place.

These puzzles ask you to notice what is around you, rather than search the internet for trivia. Some offer a choice of answers; others ask for a short response. If you get stuck, a hint helps you look in the right direction.

You do not need to touch a sculpture, enter a closed building or buy anything to answer an outdoor public-space clue. Always follow the trail’s actual access notes and local signs. Keep pavements, entrances and crossings clear while you stop to solve.

A shared “hang on, I see it”.

You can discuss clues with the people walking beside you and take turns looking for the detail. Each device keeps its own progress. There is no shared live team leaderboard, account or automatic synchronisation between phones.

Completing a trail saves a badge and score on the device used to play. Where a genuine optional partner offer is configured, its terms are shown separately. Solving a trail never guarantees a prize or discount.
