Look up. There’s a story here.
Unloc City is for the moment when a familiar street stops being background. Look at the detail, solve a small mystery and see the place a little differently.
Find your next discoveryDiscovery should feel like discovery.
Handing you a complete list of landmarks would give away the best part. An Unloc City trail shows its start and finish, then keeps the places between them hidden. Each solved clue opens the next destination.
The questions belong to the place you are standing in. A shape, a sculpture or something above eye level becomes a reason to pause. A short story follows the solve, so collecting points also means collecting a little context.
Across the United Kingdom.
Our catalogue spans 10 major UK cities: London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Bristol and Cardiff, alongside distinctive partner venues.
Every route is crafted with care, respecting local heritage, public rights of way and the genuine thrill of discovery. Check each trail page for up-to-date access guidance, duration and terrain details.
A small adventure, without a player profile.
Guests can download a trail and play without an account. Location checks, answers and progress stay on the device used to play. The app does not need a history of where you have walked to tell you that you solved a clue.
That choice has a practical consequence: there is no cloud recovery if local browser data is cleared. We make saved progress, downloads and privacy controls visible so you can decide what to keep.
A place for venues and local businesses.
Businesses can discuss a clearly labelled sponsored stop, an optional offer or a commissioned venue experience. These are distinct ways to participate, agreed through a direct enquiry and quote.
A paid agreement does not publish automatically. Scope, payment confirmation, preview and launch remain separate steps. Commercial content should support an adventure, and its terms should be clear when it appears.
